Brainteasers

The brainteasers are working very hard at measure this term. They have already learned how to measure in metres and centimetres and had great fun estimating and measuring items in the classroom and also each other!!

They are now moving on to volume and although are finding it quite challenging to measure volumes accurately are all working well and getting better and better each day.

We have been learning how to use and read 24 hour time. After lots of hard work, we all managed to use it confidently. As part of our homework we even had to keep a time journal for the entire day which we recording using 24 hour time.

We have been learning about angles – and there are lots of them that we never knew before. The Z and F angles were quite tricky to begin with but with help from Miss Nunn and Miss Campbell we are now all angle experts. Using the protractor can also be difficult but over time we are now able to use them really accurately.
